:) The beamer was completely reworked while ago. It is now more powerful, but
the workflow is more harder esp. if you get used to the older ways.
If you are inside slide and want to start next slide (that's why you want
the end of frame separator, right?) you just go to the Insert menu ->
Separated Frame below. This will insert frame end && new frame after that.
I strongly advise to look on new beamer examples, this is not the only
surprise you will encounter...
