This would be also very helpful in in dynamic report generation with the module(s) knitr/Rnw/Sweave, but simply wrapping a preview around the \Sexpr{1} command doesn't display a preview in my LyX document upon compilation to PDF (where all my \Sexpr{ } are correctly resolved). Did anyone manage to get a preview of it? Technically, it requires evaluation of the code chunks in a document by the interpreter of the R programming language. An instant preview would probably be too resource and time consuming, but insertion of results upon compilation (like for example for TikZ chunks) would be nice. It did, before. I do not know what I did that caused this behavior. I think, LyX 2.5.1 was able to instant preview the equations, but not sure. When I enter into an equation editing box, and go out momentarily, the instant preview works on that specific equation. When I exit LyX and reopen, the same cycle repeats. I am betting that this is related to either updated permissions of Windows 11, updated TexLive, some issues with the LyX cache or smtg similar. I will see if I can fix it by myself, but I want to know if anybody else experience a similar issue, and what would be suggested checklist of actions on this? There is also the Save as Document Defaults button, but that actually just creates a template, defaults.lyx. Riki -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
