LyX macros and compilation speed

Very interesting. Can you give an idea of what do you mean by
"significant" ?

I would like to test this. Is there anyway you can send me MWEs that
show a considerable difference? NOte that you can use the LyX function
"buffer-anonymize" to try to anonymize the document (although still
check no personal info after using the function).
