lyx 2.4.4 has a memory leak?

Hi Matan,
6GB of RAM for LyX is indeed ridiculous and in my non-expert opinion
does suggest *a* memory leak. But we don't know if it's coming from LyX
or Qt. Further, I don't recall other users reporting something like this
recently.
I would personally suggest you wait until 2.5.0 is released (or if you
want to test a pre-release let us know), and see if you observe the leak
there as well.
