Large space before the math field

There is a large space that appears on LyX right before the math field, 
when the instant preview option is ON and when the math is complicated 
and placed in Box. This makes it extremely difficult and tedious when 
editing the math field. I the attached example, I am trying to write a 
large matrix and rotate the page. I cleaned up my LyX file, but still 
kept the whole matrix so that you can see the issue more clearly.

This has been mentioned in several other posts, and apparently it is not 
fixed in ver. 2.4.4. Do you know if it is solved in ver. 2.5.0 RC1? If 
not, does anybody know any solution for this issue?
