LyX 2.5.0 RC1 frequent crashes

If you immediately write down what you were doing when the crash 
occurred, that would help quite a lot. If you can run LyX from a 
terminal, you may get some kind of backtrace, which could also help.

Are you running any background tools, like clipboard managers or 
anything like that?
