preview environment doesn't render in the document in 2.4.0?

I don't have the algorithm2e module loaded up in the document, only AMS
theorems, and the preamble has the packages tikz, algorithm, algpseudocode,
forest, preview, and bigfoot.
I'm not getting any error, the only thing happening is the preview not
"previewing" on the lyx document itself, on the compiled PDF, there is no
such problem.
