Having graphic settings dialog box open in proper directory

I copied an images/ directory to a different parent path and now need to
correct the path to all images in the document. When I click on an image
'settings' link the old path and directory show up in the dialog box. Even
after I repoint the dialog box the path above the images/ directory is lost.

How can I reset the path to the new image directory so that's where the
settings dialog box opens?
