I was being sarcastic.  After all, why was it so hard for other
respondents to understand just what it is that the original poster
(Patrick Dupre) was asking?  I think that the original post was rather
clearly stated.  More to the point, I never thought that the original
post had anything to do with recompilation of the LyX product.
