Why does lyx not find an installed .sty? [RESOLVED]

It was a LaTeX error, and one that I thought that I had fixed long ago. But,
I apparently did not fix the template.

The problem was in the preamble. I had:
\usepackage{scrpage2}
and that was deprecated long ago and replaced by
\usepackage{scrlayer-scrpage}

The fault was mine: I didn't see that no matter how many times I looked at
the preamble before just now. I made that change to the preamble and the
document compiles.

Mea culpa!
