Hi again,

I did see several issues related to reconfiguring LyX in recent weeks 
that were related to the lack of a proper python installation on recent 
macOS versions.

A quick search on our bug tracker shows these reports that might be 
relevant:

But again, I am not a macOS user, so you can probably get a better from
