Many years ago I expressed the opinion (on the mail list) that the term
should be changed because there's nothing evil about inserting LaTeX in a
LyX document. I was ignored.

When I need to create a vector graphic I write it in PSTricks because I find
it frustrating to make fine adjustments in GUI tools such as Dia.

I may be in the minority on this issue.
