insert a url into a lyx/beamer presentation

Dear Ehud,
Maybe I have not understood your request. 
Inserting a hyperlink will create an active link in the compiled PDF document and not in the document in LyX. Maybe you are looking for the second option. Then I do not know if it is possible.
