Change lyx use of tex system

I got two tex installations on my computer running Windows.
One is TeX live 2021, the other is miktex.
Is there any way to tell lyx which one to use?
Or is it rather determined by the computer via the control panel PATH (in the Environmental Variables menu)?

I haven't seen any menu in LyX that lets the user to choose such a thing, so I tend to think that you can only make such decisions from the system's control panel. But I would like to be sure about it.
