A question about the macOS warning message

Launching LyX on macOS 12.1 (Monterey) causes a warning to appear, saying that in future OS versions, the application will no longer run, and that it should be updated. Is anyone working on this? I tried to find indications that this was so on the website, but to no avail. My dissertation is in LyX, and it would be a problem is updating my Mac’s system software would disrupt the work.
