Recent unreleased version of hotspot allow to save a portable file, but 
I could not get it to work in my trials. They are available here:
https://github.com/KDAB/hotspot/releases
(take the appImage file and make it runnable).





I downloaded appImage, it doesn't like Wayland (error qt.qpa.plugin: Could not find the Qt platform plugin "wayland-egl" in "") but I can launch it in xwayland mode. So I should record Lyx with Hotspot and save as .perfparser file?
