Short titles

I don't think the KOMA-Script Report class directly supports a short 
title for the title. In LyX, the short title entry on the Insert menu is 
there when you are in a chapter or section heading but not when you are 
in the document title. I searched the KOMA-Script manual for "short 
title", and the only hits were for captions or something called a "half 
title", which isn't what you want.

Have you been able to insert short titles in KS Report titles in the past?
