enter a feature request ticket in the bug tracker 
(https://www.lyx.org/trac/wiki/BugTrackerHome 
<https://www.lyx.org/trac/wiki/BugTrackerHome>) or else send an email to 
the developer list (lyx-devel at lists.lyx.org).
