Implementing \intertext and \shortintertext

LyX 2.4 reads and output PDF correctly the file with \intertext that LyX 2.5 exported with LyX 2.4.x conversion (lyxformat 620), but not the file in LyX 2.5 format (lyxformat 640) (the latter is natural, isn’t it). Also, LyX 2.5 reads LyX 2.4 file correctly that contains \intertext command in ERT inset and converts it to an intertext inset.

Does this mean format increment is unnecessary and also lyx2lyx is working well?
