Yes, I tried to use multicolumn support of InsetMathGrid class, but I think I have judged it difficult to access from a lower level of the recursive structure of math insets. If there is a way to access parents of the structure, I think it can be resolved.

For UI representation, I have been wondering how to do with it since for example \lefteqn doesn’t have a menu if I’m not wrong. Indeed, it would be better to have a visual access to the command for a user.

I will check for the lyx2lyx conversion too.

Uh, sorry, so it was not only me who gets those mails.

It seems forced push is necessary to avoid errors after local rebase, so I wonder if mails can be canceled for those forced pushes, for example.
