[LyX/master] Fix dark/light mode setting and run-time switch with Qt 6.8

I was able to produce this when switching to light mode

 and then this on another attempt

so it looks like it's inconsistent. This is Fusion style. Switching to dark
mode seems fine though.
On windows11 (default) I get this when switching to dark mode

and here switching to light mode seems fine.
