Changing table defaults causes SIGSEGV

In a new document, go to

Document > Settings > Text Layout > Table Style

and change from Default to any of the other options (I've tried most of 
them). Click OK. Now click on the Insert Table icon and insert a table. 
(I used a 2 x 3 table.) When I do this, I get a SIGSEGV.

windows 10, LyX 2.4.2.1 (bug also present in 2.4.1)
