Just like Pavel I also saw/participated in some work frameworks where
teams discuss the changes to a given document based on the change
tracking output. This has some advantages and drawbacks but it is
something that is used. :-)

On the other hand with 2.4.0 being succeeded so soon by 2.4.1 and the
following this will become less a problem. That is the argument that
places this in the borderline. :-)


Or else I will revive my nightmares with latex 2.09 again.

This was released in 1993, it was replaced by LaTeX2e 6 months later
and we still saw references to it more than 20 years after that. :-D
