BTW it would be good to have RC2 out in mid Feb.

RC1 made it somewhat surprisingly to debian testing already and
Feb 29 is feature freeze for Ubuntu 24.04 (LTS maintained next 12 years)
It takes at least week to bubble through debian upload->ubuntu.
