Lyx 2.4 RC1 — A problem inserting svg graphics

Hi, 


I did some tests, because I don't always get the same behavior depending on: 

- The path leading to an svg file may or may not contain accents; 

- depending on the way of inserting the svg graphic (direct insertion from the toolbar icon, or with external “Inkscape” object insertion); 
- depending on whether the document is opened the first time with the “cache” directory emptied or after reopening without having cleared the cache. 


Inkscape is normally visible by lyx (see screenshot 1 and 3); 
several converters installed by default are visibly configured for this svg format (see screenshot 2) (default configure.py file) 



Test 1 (message panel capture) 
Cache clear 
accent in the path : « Lyx-Cinématique » 

preview of the svg placed with the insert graphic icon : ERROR 
preview of the svg placed with insertion of external objects : ERROR 
But the export to pdflatex is successful (even if the two ways of placing the file do not give the same thing at all) 


Test2 

Cache clear 
NO accent in the path : Lyx-Cinematique 

preview of the svg placed with the insert graphic icon : A lmost correct preview... (no textual element) 
preview of the svg placed with insertion of external objects : ERROR 
But the export to pdflatex is successful (Same pdf as test1) 


Test3 
I just closed Lux and immediately reopened without deleting the contents of the cache folder 

preview of the svg placed with the insert graphic icon : A lmost correct preview... (no textual element) 
preview of the svg placed with insertion of external objects :GOOD ! 
But the export to pdflatex failed (see message panel capture test4 during export)
