Cancel Export hangs

Dear Richard,
Yes, I had to kill Lyx and relaunch it in order to be able to compile again. FYI : I was testing compilation through Xlatex. I never met this problem with pdflatex (it did never hang yet). 
I will try to reproduce the problem before installing RC2 that I was able to download.
