[patch] fix nomencl escape character (stable only)

Since some time (unfortunately not documented when), nomencl uses the
rather odd % escape character (instead of " due to its activation by
babel etc.), but we haven't adapted it fully yet.

The attached patch does that.

Master uses the right escape char with its new approach.
