Never a problem. It's important to disconnect! I've actually wanted to try to do something like check my LyX messages only once every few days. I just haven't been able to commit to it though.

Jürgen is actually a developer of Polyglossia. So I think if we try to remove the Babel hardcoding and run into problems, he might be able to fix them or at least give an idea of what's going on.

Thanks, I'm not sure what the next step is. I guess you or I would just need to change the "Always babel" and see what happens.
