Using Comment notes the right way

I think that I have figured out how this works after a while. Nice that 
one can do this with LyX.

I know that you might not have intended to answer my original point, so 
my comment might not be an answer to yours either, but this approach 
seems a bit too complicated for a simple commenting feature.

It still seems to me that LyX should provide a ready to use commenting 
feature that can be globally toggled on and off in the export. And it 
seems to me that the "Comment" note is on the right track here. It just 
needs a facelift (some nice label color and background color) and some 
additional features (toggling, free spacing) and it would be pretty 
close to ideal as a default commenting feature.

Another thing that would make Comments more comment like is to mark them 
with the name (and even color) of the author in the label. Well, I am 
getting carried away again...

(I take back my suggestion that it could be toggled on a per comment 
basis. I have not seen such a feature elsewhere and maybe branches are 
good enough for such a specific feature.)
