argument "-style fusion" not working on beta2

I used to be able to test the fusion style with LyX on macOS via the 
command:

open LyX-2.4dev.app --args -style fusion

That stopped working when using the development version beta2:

open LyX-2.4-beta2.app --args -style fusion

just shows the normal macOS style.

But when I download the binary of beta2 via ftp, the argument works again.

It is nice to be able to test another style when working with the qt UI. 
So, it would be great to get that functionality back.
