I have 5 min, but the pausing didn't felt that long.

I don't think so (but the standard for me may be non-standard for others)

Will try. ATM I am trying QT5 and wanted to write that I cannot get a crash.
Instead I got the crash (maybe after 5 min! of looking into preferences dialog to
see the auto-save time).
