I get similar warnings also, but I can't get a crash.

How long pausing? Maybe about 5 minutes, which is what the default auto
save setting is?

Looks like maybe triggered by auto save? I can't reproduce. Do you have
non-standard auto save preferences by chance? Maybe setting auto save to
backup every minute would make it easer to trigger the crash.
