LyX 2.3 and 2.4 have troubles displaying EPS images

Isn't it possible to tell our Adobe friend to export the image in a more
sane way? In my experience the moment I start doing more fancy vector editing
in various editors, postscript rendering in latex shows all kinds of glitches
and export to pdf is the only robust solution.
