What version of fr.po in lyx-2.4.0-beta2 ?

I'm not sure, but I think the "Negative width" messages are from your
PDF viewer. I've seen these as well, I think with Okular. Perhaps they
indicate a problem with the LaTeX code LyX generates, but I haven't
investigated.
