Hello,

You would have more impact if you posted directly to lyx-devel. To be 
frank, I took a lookat the PR, and I did not understand what is expected 
from us :) So details will be welcome.

I read a bit about pacstall, but I think we could use help understanding 
what it can do for us or our users.
