Differences in vertical spacing with 2.3.x and master

Thanks, Jürgen, looks good!

There's one other difference that I noticed when comparing the User
Guide. Attached is a screenshot. On master there is a small indentation
while on 2.3.x there is none.

I can try to make a MWE to show the difference if that would help.
