I vociferously apologize for sending this message to lyx-devel. It was
intended for developers at lists.lyx.org, but Thunderbird did not do what I
meant it to do. I realized the mistake only as the message was being
sent and did not quite catch it in time.
Daniel, I apologize especially to you. Although the message itself was
intended to be supportive of you, it contains implicit criticisms of you
(and allusions to prior criticisms) that should not have been aired
publicly. I beg your forgiveness and hope you understand how much I
appreciate your contributiosn to LyX.
