Hi, again, all,

I'd like to suggest that we re-think Daniel's commit rights. I think he
has responded very well to the criticisms and advice we made and gave a
while ago. He took a few days off, but then he was right back with
patches, and he's been much more responsive (it seems to me) to our
comments.

I would propose giving him what I'll call "+1" commit rights: He can
propose patches, but he needs approval (+1) from some other developer
before committing. (That's in a way what we do for all new developers.
At least, it's what we encourage.) It's hard to keep track of all the
patches he posts to the bug tracker. Which is a sign of how many there
are! Most of them are pretty simple, but it takes time to test them and
then to download and commit them.

As I said, I think he was chastened by the previous exchanges. We can
always backtrack if need be.

Riki
