change of behavior in master: numbers on multiline equation are to extreme right

What happens is more subtle: now, the numbers are not drawn as part of
the inset anymore, and the equation is thus properly centered.
Additionally, if you make the window narrow enough, you will see that
some space is added between different lines of eqnarray for the labels
(like LaTeX does).
So it is a feature. Indeed, if you have insanely long text line
(remember the doctor says 75 character per line), the equation number
will be insanely far away :)
Note that nothing of the sort has been done for previews.
Seriously, I am taker of any ideas to improve the result (except adding
a new preference to limit the position of the numbers, of course).
