usually upstream 2.3.5-1 is a bad idea
as we use the dash to separate upstream from downstream release

in the past for cygwin package I had

lyx-2.3.4-1
lyx-2.3.4.2-1
lyx-2.3.4.2-2

any upstream 2.3.5-1 will be converted to 2.3.5.1 to make
clear what -1, -2 .. means if needed.
