Makes sense, why did I not think about that.....
I have done that now and replaced the patch on Trac, II have marked the
additional lines with a FIXME, so I can remove them easily later. Also I
have stored the changed language files locally for now.

Riki, when you build 2.3.5, don't forget to update pdfview (#9368).
