Good. I am personally going to use the shell script (I can read it, change it
and fix about 100x times faster than python).

If I can slip my own crafted scripts (under any name, like lyxpaperview.py)
without patching the code I am fine with your/any proposal - though from
obvious reasons I am not going to implement it either ;)

RC is ready, so we are few qt designer clicks away if someone feels
compelled to make it widely available and respond users requests
about non-functional searches...
