The LyX team is pleased to announce the release of the second alpha for 
LyX 2.4. You can dowload it here:

Please note that, as alpha software, there may be some nasty bugs 
lurking. LyX 2.4 alpha 2 is released for testing only. That said, we 
really would appreciate testing, especially on Windows, where we have 
few active developers.
