Windows 10 via WSL2 (Ubuntu) with VcXsrv.
                              The application is snappy and I like

Sadly, I can't get the clipboard to

In Windows, start the VcXsrv

In WSL2, start LyX, create New file

In Windows, copy some text (e.g.,
                                  from Notepad++)

In LyX paste (this works)

In LyX, change the text, then Copy

In Notepad++, paste (no effect).
                                  Windows-V (to show the clipboard
                                  history) shows no trace of the newly
                                  copied text from LyX.

Try steps 2-4 again and it no longer
                                  works, implying something "breaks" the
                                  Xserver in those steps.

I'm able to do copy/paste with other
                              applications such as xfe (file explorer)
                              and gedit (text editor), so I know my
                              XServer can work properly (at least
                              sometimes).

Is there some option I need to
                              configure in LyX to get it to use the
                              proper clipboard that can be shared
                              outside (assuming that is how it's working
                              with xfe and gedit), or is this a bug?

I guess it's a bug, but I'm not sure we ever considered this kind
      of setup. (Apparently, what's on the X clipboard is not appearing
      on the Windows one. Does that work with other Linux apps?) I'd
      suggest you either file it on trac or raise it on the devel list.
