No, LyX will fail again as soon as Inkscape 1.0 is installed (and you need to reconfigure). Inkscape 1.0 also does not work with LyX for other reasons (replacing the reconfigure script does not suffice to fix that).

I suggest you only upgrade to Inkscape 1.0 after LyX 2.3.5 is out (which will be very soon anyway).
