I don't think so. "English (US)" is LaTeX default language using Latin script,
language "Latin" loads Babel/Polyglossia Latin support files and sets Latin
hyphenation rules, all of this is not required for Roman numerals.
Also, not everyone will have Latin language support installed...

I did not try. tex2lyx did also a poor job on cjk-ko-doc...
More problematic is, that I don't understand any Korean, so I work kind of
