I stand corrected. :-)

I had searched yesterday in the mailing list archive. There I found a thread 
named "Subversion don't work in 1.7 version".

This induced me in error. It really meant that svn 1.7 was not working with 
the lyx. I read it wrongly, that svn did not work lyx 1.7.

My mistake. :-)
