I don't think so. The problem is the huge input widgets. They are
needed for anything advanced, but really completely overshooting for
simple replace.

Strange. So the RightToLeft layout direction does not work for you.
Looks like a qt theme bug or a qt bug.
Does it work if you use a different theme?
