This is something that has been bugging me while implementing growing 
symbols. The support for \limits was kind of horrible and did not allow 
to define certain macros. Moreover part of it was hardcoded like "if the 
name of the symbol contains 'int' then it is probably an integral and I 
can do this and that".

So I might have broken some things, but it is _my_ mess now :)
