More lay description for "Use old style figures"?

I don't know anything about this feature, but I had to pause for a few
seconds when I saw it. I went through the following thought process:

- Does "old" refer to how things were before 2.4.0?
- If this is about "figures", why is it a font setting?

It would be nice to describe the feature in a way that LyX users who
don't know anything about "old style figures" can immediately realize
that they don't need to check those boxes or search for what they do.
The tooltip did not help me. It says "Use old style instead of lining
figures".

Either for the feature text, or the tooltip text, would it make sense to
say something like "Use medieval numerals" or "Use medieval-style
numerals"? With one of those descriptions, I would have quickly realized
I don't need to know anything about the feature.
